Ljubljana – Slovenia has confirmed a case of the coronavirus first detected in India, follows from the GISAID portal, which provides open-access to genomic data of influenza viruses and the novel coronavirus.
Turkey ranks 3rd worldwide with LNG import rises in 2020
Turkey ranked third in the world after China and India with an annual growth of 1.3 million tonnes in LNG imports in 2020, according to the latest report of the International Group of Liquefied Natural Gas Importers (GIIGNL).
China ranked first with imports of 7.2 million tonnes last year followed by India with 2.6 million tonnes.

Turkey condemns abduction of schoolgirls in Nigeria
Turkey strongly condemned a "heinous incident" in Nigeria where hundreds of schoolgirls were kidnapped, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Feb. 26.
"We are deeply saddened by the news that more than 300 school girls were abducted during an attack perpetrated by an armed group on a Boarding School in Zamfara State of Nigeria today (26 February)," the ministry said in a statement.

Rescued Turkish sailors arrive in Turkey
Fifteen Turkish sailors arrived in Istanbul early on Feb. 14 following their abduction by pirates by pirates off the coast of Nigeria.
The sailors were taken early on Feb. 13 to the Turkish Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria under strict security.

Kidnapped Turkish sailors rescued after pirate attack
All 15 remaining crew members of the Liberian-flagged ship the Mozart were rescued on Feb. 12 after the cargo vessel had fallen victim to a pirate attack off Nigeria, two involved maritime companies announced.
Borealis Maritime and Boden Maritime stated that the entire crew was now safe in contact with their families, adding that they would return to Turkey as soon as possible.
