Delays in the program for training and equipping the moderate Syrian opposition are not due to a disagreement between Ankara and Washington, but rather because of ?technical reasons,? Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavu?o?lu has said.

?The arrival of U.S. soldiers in Turkey was delayed due to distance,? Çavu?o?lu said on May 11 in a televised interview. 

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavu?o?lu and his Qatari counterpart, Khalid bin Muhammad al-Attiyah, have both called for a political solution to end the crisis in Yemen.

First of all: Is Turkey sending troops to Syria?

The Turkish and Qatari foreign ministers will meet to discuss regional developments, the Turkish Foreign Ministry has said in a statement, amid reports that the two countries' cooperation in Syria has begun to yield results to the advantage of rebels.

Delivery Hero, the Germany-based online food ordering giant, has acquired Turkey?s Yemeksepeti, the leading local firm in the business, for $589 million, the companies announced on May 5. 

Yemeksepeti CEO Nevzat Ayd?n told Hürriyet that he will remain in his post as he will also be part of the management team of Delivery Hero.
