Romanian PM ousted in no-confidence vote
Romania's prime minister and his government have been ousted in a no-confidence vote submitted by ruling party members.
A total of 241 politicians approved the motion on Wednesday, more than the 233 votes required.
The governing Social Democratic Party filed the motion to oust Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu, saying that he had failed to implement the party's political agenda.

Romania's ruling Social Democrat Party, PSD, and its junior ally, the Alliance of the Liberals and Democrats, ALDE, passed a no-confidence vote against their own government on Wednesday, after a week of turmoil triggered by the refusal of Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu to resign.

Romania's government collapses after 6 months
Romania's government has collapsed after only six months in office, AFP reported on Wednesday, citing an unnamed official.
Reuters said, citing a senior official, that Romania's parliament passed the no confidence motion 241-7 and toppled the government of Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu.

Romanian Parliament to Hold No-Confidence Vote
Romania's parliament is set to vote on Wednesday on a no-confidence motion on the government led by the ruling Social Democratic Party, PSD - a motion launched by the PSD itself.
The vote comes after the PSD's failed negotiations with the country's ethnic Hungarian party, the Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania, UDMR, sparked nationalist reactions from some politicians.

Romania Arrests Target Child-Trafficking Crime Gang
Romanian prosecutors have uncovered an organised criminal group suspected of training more than 70 Roma children and sending them to France to steal from offices, pick pockets and beg on the streets of Paris.
Prosecutors said in a statement that on Monday they searched 25 homes in several Romanian cities and brought in 120 people for questioning in connection with the case.
