Austria ready to share experience to transform Turkey’s ski resorts
The ski resort Uludağ near Bursa near the Marmara coast is one of Turkey's most popular ski destinations. But come summer, it can hardly compete with the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, which attract millions of tourists.
Yet Uludağ (Grand Mountain in English) could become a year-round tourism destination, according to Austrian experts.

Children battling cancer boost their spirits in hospital’s playrooms
Volunteers from the Hope Foundation for Children with Cancer (KAÇUV) have been working to cheer up children battling cancer at an Istanbul hospital.
KAÇUV volunteers have prepared a room of the hospital as a "playroom" for the children. In the room, they play games and spend time with fun activities.
Police search for armed robbery suspect
Police are searching for a man accused of robbing the National Bank branch on Amfitryonos Street in Palaio Faliro south of Athens on Monday morning.
Nobody was injured during the robbery, but the man, who was wearing a mask, did point a gun at the clerk.
The man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
UPB students gain four medals at SEEMOUS 2020
Students at the Automatics and Computers Faculty of the Politechnica University of Bucharest gained four medals, one gold and three silver, at SEEMOUS - a maths competition for Southeast Europe, with international participation, which took place between March 3 and 8 in Greece, in Thessaloniki.
World War II, 1945: Restoration of the Romanian administration in Northeastern Transylvania
On March 9, 1945 the Romanian administration was re-established in Northeastern Transylvania. A festive meeting was organized on the occasion in Cluj on March 13, 1945, with King Mihai, Prime Minister Petru Groza and the first deputy of the Soviet People's Commissioner for Foreign Affairs, A.I. EU executive tells Turkey to take migrants back from Greek border
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said ahead of talks with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that Turkey must move refugees and migrants away from the Greek border.
"Finding a solution to this situation will require relieving the pressure that is put on the border," von der Leyen told a news conference on Monday.
More Balkan Countries Confirm First Coronavirus Cases
Albania, Bulgaria and Moldova registered their first cases of the coronavirus at the weekend as the illness continues to expand its reach in the Balkans and worldwide.
The Albanian Ministry of Health on Sunday said the two cases had arrived from Italy, were in a stable condition and have been placed in care.
