Comedian Tzimis Panousis hospitalized after heart attack
Popular songwriter and stand-up comedian Tzimis Panousis is in an Athens hospital, in a "stable and controlled" state, according to the doctors treating him for a heart attack.
Panousis, 63, was rushed to the Elpida Hospital after collapsing on stage during a live show in the early hours of Saturday.

Defense alternate undergoes heart surgery
Alternate Defense Minister Dimitris Vitsas was in an Athens hospital on Wednesday after having stent surgery following a heart attack late on Tuesday night.
The 60-year-old SYRIZA official was said to be in stable condition on Wednesday following the procedure, which was carried out at the capital's Hellenic Navy Hospital.

Iraqi airlifted to Athens with head injuries after brawl in Chios migrant camp
A young Iraqi refugee was being treated in an Athens hospital on Friday with serious head injuries after being set upon on Thursday night in the island's reception center for migrants by a group of Afghan men.
The victim was airlifted to the capital late on Thursday as the local hospital on Chios was not adequately equipped to treat his injuries.
Refugee who set self on fire last month dies
A Syrian man who set himself alight on March 30 at the Vial detention center on the island of Chios died on Monday, authorities said.
The 29-year-old man had been airlifted to the Evangelismos hospital in Athens with burns covering around 90 percent of his body.
