New warrants issued against Maziotis, accomplice
Judicial authorities on Friday issued an arrest warrant for Revolutionary Struggle leader Nikos Maziotis and for a suspected accomplice of the leftist guerrilla, who was not named, sources said.
The accomplice is believed to have collaborated with Maziotis in previous armed robberies.

Operations continue for hideout following fugitive's arrest
Exarchia, Halandri and Kolonons were among the Athens neighborhoods police officers scoured late on Wednesday in their efforts to locate a hideout and other information regarding the activities of Revolutionary Struggle following the arrest of the leftist guerilla group's head, Nikos Maziotis, on Wednesday.

Health Minister Makis Voridis on Wednesday ordered the immediate suspension of the director of a public hospital in western Macedonia, northern Greece, amid suspicions that he secured the post with a fake diploma.

Judge upholds suit over Marine's missing heart

The family of a Marine whose body came back from Greece without his heart can pursue negligence claims against the United States, a federal judge in Philadelphia ruled. However, the judge found that Greek officials and the Athens hospital where the autopsy was performed are immune from the Pennsylvania family's lawsuit.

Odysseas Hatzopoulos, Kaktos publisher, dies
Odysseas Hatzopoulos, 73, founder of Kaktos editions, died in an Athens hospital on Friday.
Born in Athens in 1941, Hatzopoulos founded Kaktos in 1975. The publishing house specialized in translations of works by ancient Greek authors.
His funeral will take place at the capital's Third Cemetery located in Nikaia, southwest of Athens, on Tuesday at 4.30 p.m.

Communist party candidate Babis Angourakis, 63, dies
Babis Angourakis, 63, a Greek Communist Party (KKE) candidate for the May 25 European Parliament elections, died on Monday night at an Athens hospital, where he had been rushed after suffering an aneurism.
Angourakis was born in Bucharest in 1951 and studied information technology in Dresden.
