Greek plan strengthens country, EU official says
Greece has a solid and reliable recovery and resilience plan that can meaningfully strengthen it in the face of future challenges, Siegfried Muresan, chairman of the European Union's Working Group for Budget and Structural Policies, said in an interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency.

Migrant shipwreck leaves two dead and one missing, as 57 make it to shore
Two people have been confirmed dead and one is presumed missing after a boat carrying at least 60 migrants from Turkey went down off Lesvos in the eastern Aegean on Monday night, the Athens-Macedonian News Agency reported the coast guard as saying on Wednesday.
According to the report, police on the island found 57 undocumented migrants who survived the wreck and swam to shore.
Fall and winter shrinking due to climate change
Climate change is effectively reducing the year's seasons to two, according to the head of the Greek Meteorological Society.
"We have observed the expansion of summer into the fall, while winter - especially the winter of 2023 - is showing higher temperatures, mainly because of climate change," Panagiotis Nastos told the Athens-Macedonian News Agency.

TUI: Crete, Rhodes and Kos biggest favorites for German tourists
TUI tourism group's head of communications, Aage Dunhaupt, has told the Athens-Macedonian News Agency that Crete, Rhodes and Kos remain top destinations for the German customers of the company, which this year is starting the summer season in Greece earlier than in any other year.

Record number of German tourists to visit Greece this summer, TUI official says
TUI tourism group's head of communications, Aage Dunhaupt, has said he expects Greece to be visited by a record number of tourists from Germany in 2024, adding that the islands of Crete, Rhodes, and Kos remain the top destinations for the company's customers.

Retail’s December turnover to match expectations

Gastrade’s FSRU at the anchorage of Alexandroupoli port
