Europol announces arrest of money laundering suspect in Athens
A "notorious money launderer" who cleaned "the dirty money of the world's foremost criminals" was arrested late last month in Athens, Europol, the EU police agency, has announced.
The arrest, on 31 May, followed a long investigation by Dutch police into the activities of the underground banker, who operated in the Netherlands.
Over 1,500 arrested at climate protest in The Netherlands

Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport has said that it would stop night flights and bar private jets in a bid to cut greenhouse gas emissions and noise pollution.
Aircraft will be banned from taking off between midnight and 6 a.m. and will not be allowed to land before 5 a.m., Royal Schiphol Group chief executive Ruud Sondag said in a statement.
Dutch art fair looks ahead after heist
One of the world's largest art fairs opened its doors on March 11 in the Netherlands, with organizers saying they have thrown a ring of steel around it after a brazen heist last year.
Until March 19, visitors at The European Fine Art Fair (TEFAF), will be able to view a treasure trove of the world's greatest artworks for sale in the southern city of Maastricht.

Van Gogh painting stolen from Dutch museum during virus shutdown
Thieves stole a painting by Dutch master Vincent van Gogh early Monday in a daring heist from a museum that was closed to the public because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The 1884 painting, titled the "Parsonage Garden at Neunen in Spring", was taken during a pre-dawn break-in at the Singer Laren Museum near Amsterdam.
