Stepped-up Measures as Road Accidents at the Bulgarian Coast Increased
The State Agency for Road Safety on August 9 called an extraordinary meeting in Varna because of the frequent road accidents on the Black Sea coast. The purpose of the meeting is for all relevant institutions to present measures aimed at reducing road accidents, reports BNT.
Preliminary data show that the number of road accidents in urban areas and third-class roads are increasing.

Aerial Mosquito Spraying along Danube to Start on 12 July from Kozloduy
On 12 July 2019, a disinsection campaign along the Danube will be launched, said the press office of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency. The affected areas along the entire Danube will be treated through aerial spraying of insecticides. The first mosquito spraying will take place in Kozloduy Municipality.

On Friday, July 12, 2019, a disinsection campaign began along the Danube. Destruction of insects will take place through insecticidal treatment of affected areas along the entire Danube River. The first mosquito spraying will be implemented on the territory of Kozloduy Municipality.
Hailstorms Destroyed Hundreds of Acres of Crops
A heavy rain, accompanied by hail and wind, destroyed part of the crops in Karanovo, Asenovets and Bryastovo villages in Nova Zagora region last night, BNR reported.
The strong wind has broken branches, and the heavy rain has flooded a house in the village of Panaretovtsi .

People in Svoge will Protest on Wednesday over Poor Road
