Paris attacks suspect registered as refugee in Presevo

The Serbian Interior Ministry said on Sunday that the Paris attack suspect requested asylum in the southern Serbian town of Presevo near the border with Macedonia on October 7 on his way to western Europe.
The suspect, who police identified as having the initials A.A., told the authorities while registering in Presevo that he was a refugee from Syria.
30 illegal migrants found on highway in north
Members of the Serbian Interior Ministry (MUP) in Novi Sad on Tuesday discovered 30 illegal migrants from Syria and Turkey.
The police said the migrants were found while traveling in seven vehicles on the Subotica-Belgrade highway.

Plane in emergency landing over "suspicious" tablet
A Turkish Airlines airplane traveling from Istanbul to London made an emergency landing in Belgrade late on Monday "because of a suspicious iPad."

The Serbian Interior Ministry (MUP) internal control has placed 29 police and nine customs officials, and one more citizen, under arrest, Tanjug is reporting.
They are suspected of taking and giving bribes and intentionally failing to prevent smuggling.

Serbian police officers get new uniforms

Russia donates fire trucks worth over USD 9 million
