BELGRADE - Serbia and the Maldives signed several bilateral agreements in Belgrade on Tuesday.

The U.N. General Assembly approved an Israeli-sponsored resolution on Jan. 20 condemning any denial of the Holocaust and urging all nations and social media companies "to take active measures to combat antisemitism and Holocaust denial or distortion."

More than 105 countries, as well as nine other delegations from international organizations, gathered in the Serbian capital for a two-day gathering. The hosts of the gathering, which is being held at the Belgrade Fair, in memory of the Summit held on September 1, 1961, in Belgrade, are Serbia and Azerbaijan this year.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bogdan Aurescu, will host in New York the 10th Ministerial Conference of the Community of Democracies, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
