Grammy-nominated Scottish pop producer Sophie dies aged 34

Scottish electronic pop producer Sophie has died at the age of 34 in a "terrible accident", the artist's record label said in a statement on Jan. 30.

The Glasgow-born producer was nominated for a Grammy for her debut studio album in 2019 and collaborated with Madonna and the British singer Charli XCX.

ECB’s Lagarde to join EU leaders’ call on coronavirus on Tuesday

The head of the European Central Bank Christine Lagarde will participate in a video conference of the EU's 27 leaders to discuss measures to counter the coronavirus, the Council of the European Union said in a tweet.

Missing toddler Ben Needham 'likely killed in accident'

A UK police team probing the more than two-decade old disappearance of a British toddler on the Greek island of Kos said Monday the boy was likely killed in an accident.

However, investigators have not found the body of Ben Needham - who was 21 months old when he vanished near a farmhouse where his family was staying in July 1991 - and they said the investigation is continuing.

New leads emerge on missing Ben Needham after family appeal on Greek TV

British police said on Saturday that they are investigating new leads after the family of Ben Needham, the toddler who disappeared on the Greek island of Kos 24 years ago, appeared on Greek TV on Friday night.

South Yorkshire police said they received ?a number of calls? after the Fos sto Tounel (Light at the End of the Tunnel) show on Alpha TV.
