Deputies Chamber approves request for MP Vreme criminal prosecution
The lower Deputies' Chamber at a plenary sitting on Monday passed a 153 to 110 vote to approve the request made by the National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA) to start the criminal prosecution of independent deputy Valerian Vreme, Chamber Secretary Ion Marcel Ciolacu announced.
The vote was secret, with Vreme being the only deputy to address the debates.
Chamber of Deputies rejects censure motion on Justice
The Chamber of Deputies rejected the simple motion of censure headed 'PSD [ruling Social Democratic Party] is allergic to justice', initiated by the Liberal and Democrat Liberal deputies.
The Tuesday's vote was 217 against the motion, 89 in favour of it, and four abstentions.

Romania to Axe Anonymous Prepay Cards
Anyone buying a prepay card in Romania in future will have to submit their personal data, their name and ID number respectively, according to a bill adopted on Thursday by the Romanian government.
The aim is to allow Romania's intelligence services to identify prepay card holders, if a judge decides it is necessary.
