Djuric: Court set up to try KLA crimes must prove intent
BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Marko Djuric said Friday he hoped the special court set up to try crimes committed by the so-called "Kosovo Liberation Army" ("KLA") would help rid the Kosovo public scene of people responsible for crimes.
Chepurin:Imposing sanctions on Russia would be fatal for Serbia
BELGRADE - Imposing sanctions on Moscow would be fatal for Serbia itself, Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Chepurin told the Vecernje novosti daily in an interview.
"We see that the Serbian leaders are not considering such an option at all, and many EU member states are also looking for a possibility to abandon the sanctions," he said.
Schwendiman: More work to do before indictments are raised
THE HAGUE - David Schwendiman, lead prosecutor at the Kosovo Specialist Chambers - set up to try crimes committed by the "Kosovo Liberation Army" - held in The Hague on Thursday his first press conference since his appointment.
He declined to speculate on the number of future indictments and on when they will be raised.
