Repatriated 6th century mosaic to help reconstitute apse
A Cyprus Orthodox Church official says a rare, 1.500 year-old mosaic depicting Saint Mark has joined other repatriated pieces that were looted from the ethnically split island nation's breakaway north.
Together the pieces will create a reproduction of an apse that adorned a 6th century church in island's north.

An Exhibition of Works by the Iconic Artist Andy Warhol
Exhibition of works by the iconic artist Andy Warhol was open in New York, reported bTV.
It includes over 350 paintings. Some of them are Warhol's most popular works.
The exhibition will be officially opened on November 12 and will continue until the end of March next year.

Renovation of landmark Acropole Palace under way
The interior of the Acropole Palace, a former hotel and now the property of the Culture Ministry, is seen Tuesday as renovation work on the building got under way. Works on the building, which is situated at the junction of Patission and Averoff streets near central Athens, are expected to finish in two months' time.

Late Night | Athens | October 11
Three days before it takes down its exhibitions on George Condo and Paul Chan, the Museum of Cycladic Art will be hosting a late night with live music and a reduced admission ticket of 5 euros. The special event starts at 9 p.m. and ends at midnight and features experimental Greek acts Panos Alexiadis, Bill Anagnos and Kostadis.
