NATO jets intercept Russian aircraft over Black Sea

Romanian, Bulgarian and Turkish jets, all part of the NATO Air Policing, intercepted a Russian aircraft on May 19, which was flying close to the NATO air space, the Allied Command Operations (ACO) said.

According to a written statement by NATO Allied Air Command on May 21, the Alliance Quick Reacting Alert jets were dispatched to prevent Russia from entering the air space.

Greece opens books for 7-year bond, initial price thoughts at around 2.1 pct

Greece has opened books for a new seven-year bond, its third such issue since it emerged from international bailouts last year, according to IFR, Refinitiv's capital markets news service on Tuesday.

Initial price estimate was for a yield of around 2.1 percent, IFR said.

Montenegro will be Guarded by NATO and Greece Aircraft

Montenegrin Defense Minister Predrag Boskovic has confirmed that Italian and Greek fighters will take over the defense of Montenegro's airspace within NATO's Air Policing mission, reports Macedonian media NetPres quoted by Focus.

Boskovic specified that the agreement should be signed with the SMTPSA (Air Traffic Control Agency) of Serbia and Montenegro.

UK notifies Turkish officials it will lift electronics ban on flights from Turkey

The U.K. has informed Turkish officials that it would lift the electronics ban on flights from Turkey, state-run Anadolu Agency reported on July 20, citing diplomatic sources.

The sources said that Alan Duncan, Britain's minister for Europe and Foreign Minister Boris Johnson both called Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu to tell him the ban was being lifted.
