Opposition party New Democracy (ND) leads ruling SYRIZA party by over 10 percentage points, according to the most recent opinion poll conducted by Pulse and aired on Tv station Action24. 31.5% of the respondents said they intended to vote for ND as opposed to 20.5% who responded they would support SYRIZA, while 38% preferred early elections.

Buoyed by recent opinion polls giving it a comfortable lead, conservative main opposition New Democracy party has launched a drive to sway disenchanted SYRIZA supporters as well as disgruntled voters in Greece's middle ground, Kathimerini understands.
