Reuters: Bulgaria Agrees Deal to Cut Price of Russian Gas Imports by 40%
Bulgaria has agreed a 40% cut in the price of gas it imports under its long-term contract with Russia, its dominant gas supplier, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said on Tuesday, Reuters reported.
Shell eyes return to local gas market
Oil giant Shell is seeking to make a fresh entry in the domestic natural gas market through DEPA Commercial, changing the landscape in the battle for a 65 percent stake in the company, and generally in the retail and wholesale natural gas market.

Four suitors interested in MIG loans
At least four groups appear to be interested in the acquisition of Piraeus Bank's loans to Marfin Investment Group (MIG), which add up to almost 550 million euros.
Sources say that the already known suitors Emma Capital and Comer Group have been joined by a foreign private investment fund, as well as another vehicle belonging to the United Arab Emirates' state investment fund.

ATHEX: Benchmark loses 19.3 percent in worst week since 2014
The Greek bourse completed its worst week since 2014 as its benchmark index slumped 19.34 percent due to concerns over the impact of the coronavirus outbreak on the economy. The decline continued unabated at Athinon Avenue, once again led by the banks index.
Turkey sees 42 percent rise in registered vehicles in January
The number of motor vehicle registrations in Turkey jumped 42.2 percent year-on-year to 94,540 vehicles in January, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced on Feb. 28.
"At the end of January, the total number of road motor vehicles registered reached 23.2 million," TÜİK said.
Wizz Air to Carry will be the Air Carrier for the International Sofia-Yerevan-Sofia Route
Bulgaria's government has selected Hungarian airline Wizz Air Hungary Ltd. As an air carrier for the international Sofia-Yerevan-Sofia route, said the government press office.
The selection of Wizz Air Hungary Ltd. has been made in accordance with the bilateral international agreement, the law of the European Union and Bulgaria's national legal norms.
Cruise giants target Piraeus
As work got under way on Piraeus Port Authority's (OLP) new cruise terminal on Tuesday, top officials of global cruise tourism giants Carnival and Royal Caribbean expressed confidence that it would reposition Greece's main port at the center of the Mediterranean cruise market.
