Seismologists reassuring about 4.2-quake near Athens

Seismologists were reassuring on Wednesday about a moderate earthquake, measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale, which hit the capital late on Tuesday night. 

Seismologist Efthymis Lekkas told Kathimerini that the quake was not of immediate cause for concern but that experts were monitoring seismic activity in the area. 

Two killed, more than 20 Injured in an Earthquake in Indonesia

Two people were killed and more than 20 were injured after an earthquake in the Indonesian province of Central Java, the BNR reported quoting TASS.

Although the earthquake has a magnitude of 4.4, there are hundreds of destroyed houses, schools and mosques.

More than 2,000 people were forced to evacuate in special centers.

Mild Earthquake near Sliven

A mild earthquake was registered in Sliven, said Slajana Kaneva, Head of the Public Order, Crisis Management and Mobile Mobilization Training Department in Sliven Municipality, BTA.
 
According to data from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the earthquake with magnitude 2.8 on the Richter was registered at about 20:00 last night.

No victims, injured or material damage have been reported so far.
