Education and Religions Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis on Wednesday addressed a conference at the education ministry on the work of the Study in Greece agency, which aims to internationalize Greece's university studies, titled "Reflecting on the Past - Gazing into the Future of Higher Education", moderated by journalist Nikos Meggrelis.

OECD officials will reportedly study every aspect of the operation of Greece's educational structures and the evaluation system to promote broad changes.

The system of nationwide university entrance exams has been changed more than 40 times in almost as many years. 

Preschool education will be placed under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, aiming to consolidate and harmonize educational policies for children up to the age of 6, while also expediting the identification of physical, intellectual, psychological and specific needs, and disorders in children.

Türkiye's Higher Education Board (YÖK) head Erol Özvar has advised foundation universities to make inflation rates a top priority when determining fees.

Speaking to the press in Ankara, Özvar stated that they expect foundation universities to take into account the increase in rates in previous years.

Assistant Minister of Education for preschool and elementary education, Milan Pai, said today that everything is ready for the junior high school graduation, as well as that the final activities are coming to an end.

With the conclusion of the 2022-2023 academic year, graduation ceremonies are now being held at every educational level, from preschool to university, as the average cost of an off-campus graduation ceremony can reach up to 1,000 Turkish Liras ($43) per student.

Something has been changing in the university entrance exams and it became obvious this year: Students are being asked to use their critical faculties more and rely less on memorization.

As Blic writes, the three biggest changes are related to the earlier end of the school year for all students in Serbia, the postponement of the major or state graduation, but also significant changes to the minor graduation that will be held in a little more than two weeks.

The empirical and academic literature shows that good management of public organizations, such as universities, requires that they must be accountable to taxpayers and society in the same way that a corporate governance framework provides accountability for the shareholders of corporations/companies.
