Britain and the world will bid farewell to Queen Elizabeth II on Monday in a ceremony said not to have been seen since the funeral of former prime minister Winston Churchill nearly 60 years ago.

London/Ljubljana – President Borut Pahor will travel to London on Sunday to pay his respects to the late Queen Elizabeth II at ceremonial events before attending her state funeral on Monday.

As Liz Butler stood among the crowds of well-wishers outside Buckingham Palace, she couldn't help asking herself if she was living through a future episode of hit TV series "The Crown".

Like many of those flocking to bid farewell to Queen Elizabeth II, Butler was a big fan of the Netflix show that has offered viewers a glimpse - albeit fictionalized - inside royal life.
