Rallies banned on December 6 anniversary of teen’s killing
The Hellenic Police (ELAS) is expected to announce a ban on all public gatherings aimed at marking the anniversary of the December 6, 2008, killing of teenager Alexis Grigoropoulos by a police officer in downtown Athens.
Bulgaria’s Health Minister Will Be Authorized to Impose Mandatory Isolation

Virus-related hospitalization down but severe cases rise in Turkey
COVID-19-associated hospitalization rate has been declining but severe infection care is rising in Turkey, the health minister has said.
"There has been a 32 percent decline in hospitalization over the past three days," Fahrettin Koca wrote on Twitter on Aug. 11.
