Coronavirus fatalities at 163; more openings Monday

Greek authorities have announced one new fatality from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 163. The average age of the victims is 75. There were also 15 new confirmed cases and the total now stands at 2,834. There are 22 patients on ventilators. There have been 128,525 tests administered for the coronavirus.

Organized beaches reopen, with physical distancing

More than 500 organized beaches were opened to the public over the weekend, coinciding with the first heat wave of the year, as Greece relaxed restrictions imposed to stem the spread of the coronavirus.

One person died, 64 more cases of coronavirus were confirmed

The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Serbia thus rose to 10.438.
The total number of victims is now 225, and the mortality rate is 2.16 percent. 837 people were hospitalized, and a total of 20 patients were on respirators.
The number of cured is 4.301.
In the last 24 hours, 5.873 samples were tested, and a total of 168.670.

Tiodorovic: The virus is still there; Nearly 3.000 "JURA" workers will be tested

"There are fewer infected people and less risk of infection. But there is still that possibility. There are people who are virus carriers without even knowing it. Therefore, our emphasis will be on testing to reach these asymptomatic people," Tiodorovic said.

Minister of Health Kiril Ananiev has issued an order allowing the holding of cultural events, and visits to museums, galleries, libraries and indoor and outdoor cinemas.

This will take place in compliance with the social distancing requirements and all anti-epidemic measures.
