Japan’s streetwear veteran Nigo takes over at Kenzo
Streetwear pioneer Nigo was named Wednesday as the new artistic director of Kenzo, luxury group LVMH announced on Sept. 15.
Known for his celebrity collaborations, Nigo takes over from Portuguese designer Felipe Oliveira Baptista, who quit the post in June after just two years.
Kenzo was founded in 1970 by Japan's Kenzo Takada, who died from COVID-19 complications in October.

Burberry chief moving to Salvatore Ferragamo
Marco Gobbetti is stepping down as chief executive of British luxury fashion house Burberry to take up the reins at Italian peer Salvatore Ferragamo, the companies announced on June 28.
Expressing disappointment at Gobbetti's departure set for the end of the year, Burberry chairman Gerry Murphy said the board respected "his desire to return to Italy after nearly 20 years abroad".
