Hurricane Wind in Poland, there are Casualties
At least two people died because of the hurricane wind and rain that hit Western Poland last night. This was announced today by Interior Minister Mariusz Blachkas, reported TASS, quoted by DARIK. 39 people were injured, including 8 firefighters, the minister said.

Three injured in Thessaloniki accident
A collision between an automobile and an urban transit (OASTH) bus in the city center of Thessaloniki left three people injured Friday morning.
According to the fire brigade, six firefighters were dispatched to the scene and performed an extraction operation to save two people, the driver and a passenger, who were pinned inside the car. The third injury was a passenger on the bus.

Four children die in apartment blaze in eastern France
A deadly fire ripped through a social housing block in the eastern French city of Mulhouse on Sunday night killing five, including four children.
Some reports claim the fire started in a stairwell at the block of flats in the Bourtzwiller neighbourhood of Mulhouse, while others suggest it began in the cellar.
Fires rage in Drama, Serres and Chalkidiki
Three separate forest fires have broken out in Serres, Cassandra in Chalkidiki and Drama. Firefighters have been deployed to all three regions in an effort to contain the flames, while the blaze in Cassandra is close to a settlement, but residential areas are in no danger, according to the fire department.

Volunteer firefighter convicted over Samos blaze
A 45-year-old man who worked as a volunteer firefighter has been convicted for starting a blaze on the Aegean island of Samos last Thursday.
According to state broadcaster ERT, the unnamed man had reported the fire to the volunteer firefighting corps, saying that he had spotted a "suspicious-looking individual" in the area before the blaze started.

State of emergency issued in fire-ravaged Achaia communities
A state of emergency has been declared in six western Achaia communities after a fire ravaged homes and farmland on Monday.
Western Greece's Regional Governor Apostolos Katsifaras submitted a request for the declaration to the head of the Civil Protection Authority, Yiannis Kapakis, on Monday night.

Waterdropping aircraft on Tuesday resumed efforts to douse fires in western Achaia, in the Peloponnese, bolstering the work of around 60 firefighters on the ground.

Fire Near Blagoevgrad Has Been Already Localized
A big fire broke out at 16.20 yesterday in a villa zone above the village of Elenovo over the Blagoevgrad neighborhood of the same name, there are no data on injured people, reported BGNES.
There are 4-5 houses that were rescued by the four firefighters but however, there were many burned vineyards, auxiliary buildings and small domestic animals, mostly rabbits.

The Fire Near the North Power Plant in Plovdiv is Located
The fire, which broke out last night around 17.40 am, near the North Power Plant in Plovdiv, was located. There are six fire-fighting vehicles on site that extinguish the fire that has covered dry grasses and shrubs. There is no danger to the plant, the firefighters said.
