Dacic, Kacin:Strong gov't must be formed as soon as possible

BELGRADE - With the pace and quality of its European integration process, Serbia is sending the best possible message to itself, the region and entire Europe, and it needs to get a strong and operational government as soon as possible, Serbia's outgoing Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and the European Parliament rapporteur for Southeastern Europe Jelko Kacin said during a meeting on Friday.

Discussions start on Vojvodina statute

NOVI SAD - Discussions on a joint position on the new statute of Vojvodina have started in the assembly of Serbia's northern province to define its constitutional status.

The draft statute has been drawn up by a group of experts appointed by the competent committee of the provincial assembly to align the provisions of the act with the Serbian constitution.
