German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas arrives on an official visit to Sofia at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva, the press center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.

This was decided by the Ministers of Culture of the countries of the region, reported NOVA TV. 

President Rumen Radev will talk to the representative of the Supreme Judicial Council Boyan Magdalinchev.

The conversation is part of a series of meetings that the head of state has initiated in connection with the selection criteria and the powers of the next Chief Prosecutor.

The State Prosecution on Wednesday announced that Prosecutor General Sotir Tsatsarov had asked the Director of the State Security Agency, DANS, to check "all available information… relating to persons holding high public offices" concerning their offshore holdings.

The state will allocate BGN 27 mln for the completion of the building of the new hospital in Yambol, Prime Minister Boyko Borisov announced during his visit to the city. Together with him were Minister of Health Kiril Ananiev and Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov.

Bulgarian  delegation will travel to Washington on May 7 to negotiate the acquisition of a new type of combat aircraft for the Bulgarian army, Defense Minister Krasimir Karakachanov announced.
