Frontex Ready to Help Bulgaria If Migratory Pressures Increase

Frontex Executive Director Fabrice Leggeri has assured Interior Minister Rumyana Bachvarova that the European border agency is ready to help Bulgaria if migratory pressures via the Black Sea increase.

Leggeri told Bachvarova that Frontex could help with the organization of more joint return flights of illegal immigrants to their home.

Romania already meets a part of the Visa Waiver Program requirements, U.S. Consul General in Bucharest Henry Leighton said on Wednesday, adding that a working group on consular subjects made up of Romanian and U.S. officials is handling the rest of the requirements.

Iran News Website Claims Former Egyptian President Mubarak Is Dead

According to Iranian media, the former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak died at the age of 87 on Wednesday.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry confirmed the death though his Twitter account, Fars news agency reports.

However there has been further official confirmation neither by other Egyptian officials nor by other media.
