Dacic to travel to Russia, Merkel, Tsipras to visit Belgrade

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic has said that he will be in Russia for a forum in St. Petersburg in mid-June.

He also told Belgrade-based daily Danas that Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias would visit Belgrade on June 25 to lay the groundwork for the first official visit to Serbia by Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.

Serbian Socialists Ponder New Leaders

The Serbian Socialist Party's steering committee should be held in mid-June, when it will then choose a deputy leader for the party, four vice-presidents and the head of the executive board.

The latest survey suggests the party and its coalition allies enjoy the support of up to 15 per cent of the voters, which makes them the second strongest political force in Serbia.
