US President Donald Trump has sent a message Hashim Thaci congratulating him on the anniversary of Kosovo's unilateral declaration of independence (UDI).

US President Donald Trump has sent a message Hashim Thaci congratulating him on the anniversary of Kosovo's unilateral declaration of independence (UDI).
According to a statement posted on the official website of Thaci, Kosovo's president, the message reads as follows:
Dacic: Haradinaj indictment no political squabbling
BELGRADE - The war crimes indictment against Ramus Haradinaj is not political, but based on facts, and he must be held to account, says Serbian FM Ivica Dacic, who believes there is a link between the case and media reports of arrest warrants for 57 Serbs over alleged crimes committed in Kosovo-Metohija.

BELGRADE - Kosovar President Hashim Thaci has announced plans to establish a truth and reconciliation commission to help reconcile Kosovo's ethnic-Albanian majority and Serb minority.
Allegations of atrocities committed during the 1998-99 Kosovo war continue to scar relations between the two communities.

President Hashim Thaci announced a new Truth and Reconciliation Commission, which he said was intended to encourage mutual forgiveness among Kosovo’s Albanians and Serbs.
Kosovo-Shot Refugee Film Wins British Award
Daniel Mulloy's 20-minute film 'Home', which was intended to deepen public understanding of the plight of people fleeing conflict zones amid the current refugee crisis, won the BAFTA Best Short Film award on Sunday.
The film, starring Jack O'Connell and Holliday Grainger, was mostly shot in the Kosovo villages of Janjeva and Gracanica.
