Serbia Urged to Take Action to Prevent High-Level Official Corruption
The Council of Europe's Group of States against Corruption, GRECO, said in its latest report on Tuesday that further measures are needed to prevent corruption among top public servants in Serbia, including the president, ministers, their assistants, state secretaries, chiefs of cabinet and political advisers, as well as police officials.

BELGRADE - Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency Tatjana Babic said Thursday that it is very important that the European Commission's latest progress report on Serbia underlines the need to provide the Agency with adequate tools, capacities and resources, and to follow up its recommendations.

BELGRADE - The media play a very important role in the battle against corruption, but the judiciary plays the key part, participants of a debate on the role of the media in the battle against corruption said on Wednesday.
