About 2,000 migrants have entered Serbia on Sunday morning after crossing from Macedonia, Tanjug reported.

Malaysian police said on Aug. 23 they had found 24 human skeletons - all believed to be victims of trafficking - in newly discovered graves along the Thai border in the northern Malaysian state of Perlis.

Army helicopters will provide assistance in monitoring Bulgaria's borders to counter a potential surge in the number of migrants trying to enter the country, Deputy Interior Minister Filip Gunev has said.

A total of 810,100 Bulgarian nationals made tourist trips in the second quarter of 2015, a decrease of 5.1% compared to the same period of last year, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Friday.

The statistics doesn't cover Bulgarian residents younger than 15 years.

Macedonian riot police used tear gas and stun grenades on Friday as thousands of migrants tried to enter the country from Greece, Sky News reported.

The number of tourists arriving in Greek Cyprus spiked 8.5 percent in July to a record high for that month, led by a surge in British visitors attracted by the cheaper euro, official figures showed.

A record 414,527 people arrived in July compared with 381,955 a year earlier, according to figures released on Aug. 20. Arrivals eased 1.5 percent in June.

The Serbian Foreign Ministry has said it is "not recommending" that Serbians travel via the Gevgelija/Idomeni border crossing between Macedonia and Greece.

This comes as several thousand refugees from the Middle East, stranded at this railroad crossings, on Friday clashed with Macedonian police and soldiers.

Macedonia has declared crisis situation in two border regions due to "an unprecedented flow of refugees from the Middle East" entering from Greece, MIA reported on Thursday.

Germany faced another increase in the number of asylum requests from citizens of the six Western Balkans Countries in July, despite repeated efforts by German and local authorities to halt the phenomenon.
