Albania and Bosnia Lag in Europe GDP Table
Albania has the lowest Gross Domestic Product, GDP, per capita and the lowest Actual Individual Consumption, AIC, of 37 European countries, according to a report by the EU statistics agency Eurostat.
The research covered all EU member states, plus Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, Albania, Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Montenegro, Bosnia and Albania.

S. Korean embassy hosts reception to mark national holiday
BELGRADE - South Korean Ambassador to Serbia Lee Do-hoon hosted a reception late Wednesday on occasion of his country's national holiday, the National Foundation Day of the Republic of South Korea.
The holiday celebrates the day when, according to ancient notes, the legendary "grandson of heaven", Dangun Wanggeom, founded Gojoseon, the first Korean kingdom, in 2333 BC.
Serbia's loses second match women's handball EC
OSIJEK - Serbia lost to France 27-16 (11-3) in the second round of Group D of the women's handball European championships in Osijek, Croatia, on Wednesday.
This was Serbia's second defeat at this event, after losing to Montenegro 22-19 in the first round.

Ukraine receives first Russian gas since June cut
Energy-starved Ukraine said Dec. 9 it had received the first Russian natural gas shipments since a politically charged price dispute saw Moscow cut off supplies to its Westward-leaning neighbor in June.
The announcement means that the war-torn nation of 45 million people should have enough power to heat homes through the bitter winter months.

Any delimitation of the Mediterranean between Egypt and Greece will not be acceptable if it affects Turkeyâs national interests, Prime Minister Ahmet DavutoÄlu has said.
DavutoÄluâs remarks were published on Dec. 7 in the Greek newspaper To Vima, in an interview given at the end of the third High-Level Cooperation Council meeting between Greece and Turkey in Athens on Dec. 6.
