Escobar: Find a solution, urgently

Escobar said that in Brussels after the meeting with the special envoy of the European Union for Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, after he conducted separate talks with the heads of the negotiating teams of Belgrade and Pristina, Petar Petkovic and Besnik Bislimi, Radio Free Europe reports.
"Tensions are very high at the moment," Escobar said after the meeting.

Lajcak: Urgent call for immediate deescalation

He called for an immediate calming of tensions.
"It's important to reduce tensions, restore a peaceful atmosphere & allow for freedom of movement", Lajcak said on Twitter.
Lajcak, who is visiting Belgrade, emphasizes that he talked about the situation in the north of Kosovo and Metohija with the ambassadors of the European Union.

New round of talks - Vučić vs. Kurti; Borrell will present his expectations first

A new round of talks in Brussels is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. with bilateral meetings between the two sides with EU mediators. Prior to the meeting, the main mediator of the EU in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, will address the media with a video message in which he will state his expectations from the talks.

Palmer: Pristina must implement the CSM agreement

On the occasion of Pristina's announcement that it would sue Serbia for genocide, Palmer said that such an approach would not contribute to resolving the problems between the two sides.
He told Pristina's RTV21 that Pristina must find a mechanism to implement the agreement on the Community of Serb Municipalities (CSM), respecting the Kosovo Constitution.
