What are the working ways for optimizing the costs of those living in the large cities of Bulgaria? To what extent do we have a choice between their possible housing, energy, logistical, health and cultural potential?

The pandemic brings the regions of Bulgaria closer together being part of the crisis in itself. It very disproportionately affected the leading economic centers and in this sense the gap was bridged. Of course, when we return to the moment of recovery, the gap will reopen, because the regions with the greatest growth potential are hit hardest.

Today marks 173 years since the birth of Hristo Botev.

A garland of glory will be laid in front of the monument of the great Bulgarian poet and revolutionary in his hometown of Kalofer. The solemn ceremony will begin with a military ritual from the yard of the Hristo Botev National Museum.

On May 4, Bulgarians mark 117 years since the death of the Bulgarian revolutionary hero Gotse Delchev.

Georgi (Gotse) Nikolov Delchev is one of the most significant Bulgarian revolutionaries. He is the leader and ideologist of the Bulgarian Macedonian-Adrianople Revolutionary Committees, later known as the The Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization.

High temperatures, extreme drought and the human factor are the three main causes of wildfires, Chief Commissioner Nikolay Nikolov, Director of Fire Safety and Civil Protection, said at a press briefing, Focus News Agency reported.

Some 288 guest houses are being inspected, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Desislava Taneva said in reference to the ongoing investigation ordered by Prime Minister Borissov into all guest houses in the country financed with EU funds, Focus News Agency reported. Minister Taneva said the inspections will continue until the end of June.

Vandals have written on the walls of the Magura cave in Northwestern Bulgaria, where there are prehistoric drawings of 7000 years. The news was published on Facebook by Andrey Shurelov. His picture shows that the prehistoric drawings have the inscription "Radi, Pavcho, Antov 2019".
