Ukrainian President Appoints Ambassadors to Bulgaria and Algeria

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed decrees dismissing Mykola Baltazhy as Ukraine's ambassador to Bulgaria and appointing Vitaliy Moskalenko to this post. 

The decrees have been posted on the website of the head of state.

In addition, the president signed a decree appointing Maksym Subkh as Ukraine's ambassador to the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. 

Serbia seeks to improve bilateral relations with Ukraine

The separate bilateral meeting came during the official visit of President of Ukraine Petar Poroshenko to Serbia.

During the meeting, which discussed current bilateral issues and possibilities for improving relations, Dacic expressed his gratitude for Ukraine's principled position on the non-recognition of the unilaterally proclaimed independence of Kosovo.

Serbia and Ukraine expressed respect for each other's territorial integrity during a meeting of their presidents on Tuesday that papered over years of tension over Belgrade's refusal to condemn Russian actions in Crimea and the flow of Serbian mercenaries fighting with pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine.

Poroshenko will on Tuesday be officially welcomed by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, followed by a face-to-face meeting and that of the two delegations.

Bilateral agreements will be signed before Vucic and Poroshenko make their statements. They will also address a Serbia-Ukraine business forum during the day.

"Serbia won't be getting much gas from TANAP"

The Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) was inaugurated in Eskisehir, Turkey.

Vucic was in Eskisehir at the special invitation of Erdogan and briefly spoke with the Turkish president upon arrival and stood beside him on a ceremonial stage, alongside the presidents of Ukraine and Azerbaijan, Petro Poroshenko and Ilham Aliyev.
