Anarchists target riot police outside KINAL offices
Self-styled anarchists lobbed homemade firebombs at a riot police unit stationed outside the offices of the center-left Movement for Change (KINAL) in the downtown Athens neighborhood of Exarchia in the early hours of Friday morning.
The attack, which took place at 4.15 a.m., did not result in any injuries.
Police are still searching for the perpetrators.
US condemns attacks on Sudan protesters
Washington on June 5 called on Sudan's military rulers to "desist from violence" and urged talks with protesters to resume, after doctors said 108 people had been killed in a crackdown.

Opposition parties summoned their protesters on Thursday morning to near the parliament in Tirana, where police deployed about 1,000 officers, equipped with gas masks and some in full anti-riot gear.
Municipal workers storm finance ministry during rally
Members of the POE-OTA municipal workers union barged into the finance ministry on Thursday, during a protest rally in central Athens.
Protesters reached the fourth floor and requested a meeting with a ministry official.
The union is holding a 24-hour strike to oppose government plans to slash a benefit paid to those working in hazardous jobs.
