Soon after the launching of Grexit vodka on June 30, comes a new product – a tower defense game during the defense era but using steam-powered machines and robots as well. The game requires young “recruits” to digitally defend Greece against hordes of enemies trying to take over the country.

The "Robear" has a cub-like face with big doey eyes, but packs enough power to transfer frail patients from a wheelchair to a bed or a bath, Japan's Riken institute said Tuesday.

An inventor in an eastern Turkish village has managed to patent a robot that he designed to keep bears away from farms and gardens.
âMy hand-made robot shocks bears or boars with 25,000 volts of electricity when it senses they are approaching,â 46-year-old Mustafa Karasungur told DoÄan News Agency on Aug. 10 in his hometown, the village of GölbaÅı in Erzurum province.
