Montenegrin Police Director in Firing Line After Deputy Arrested

On March 22, the police force's assistant director, Dejan Knezevic, was arrested on the orders of the Special State Prosecutor's Office for allegedly setting up a criminal organisation.

Vucic, Zeman open renovated Czech House in Belgrade

BELGRADE - At a ribbon-cutting ceremony, the presidents of Serbia and the Czech Republic, Aleksandar Vucic and Milos Zeman, opened the renovated Czech House in downtown Belgrade on Monday.

The ceremony was also attended by Czech Ambassador to Serbia Tomas Kuchta and Jarmila Lanik, the institution's former student.

Lukashenko: Ukraine offered Belarus a Non-Aggression Pact

Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko said that Ukraine has offered Minsk a non-aggression pact, reported the BeLTa state news agency reported, as quoted by Reuters.

Lukashenko shared the alleged proposal at a meeting of government and law enforcement officials, where he also accused the West of arming militants in Ukraine who could potentially destabilize the situation in Belarus.
