'Cases of Evil: Vlasenica', a 25-minute documentary telling the story of the crimes that were committed in the eastern Bosnian town during the 1992-95 war, is now available to watch online.

The film was produced by the Post-Conflict Research Center and PINCH Media for the Srebrenica Memorial Centre's video archive, with financial support from BIRN.

Sonja Karadzic-Jovicevic told media in Banja Luka on Thursday that she hopes that the removal of a plaque honouring her father Radovan Karadzic from a student dormitory in the town of Pale "will put an end to the misuse of his name".

Karadzic-Jovicevic said it was "unbelievable that the attention the plaque is getting now is bigger than it was when it was first installed".

It strikes a balance between authenticity - the film largely presents court-established facts about the Srebrenica genocide - and the artistic need to send a strong message. Zbanic uses characters that are based on real people, like Ratko Mladic, or UN commanders Thomas Karremans and Robert Franken, but creates others to represent the fate of the thousands of Bosniaks who suffered.

A UN round table on the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina, marking 25 years since the signing of the Dayton Peace Accord, and organised by the Russian ambassador to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzy, descended into insults and mutual accusations.

The Bosnian Missing Persons Institute said on Thursday evening that human remains exhumed in Pusmulici near Srebrenica are believed to be those of a Bosniak killed in the 1995 Srebrenica massacres.

It said that the remains are believed to be those of victims of the massacres of some 8,000 Bosniak man and boys by Bosnian Serb forces in July 1995, which international courts have classified as genocide.

Four hundred pages of former Bosnian Serb Army commander Ratko Mladic's war diary, painstaking redrawn by Serbian artist Vladimir Miladinovic, are going on display in Belgrade on Saturday at an exhibition entitled 'Notebook'.

The Serbian Administrative Court has ruled that the Serbian Interior Ministry's disciplinary commission must reconsider the dismissal of policeman Mladen Trbovic, who has been accused of disclosing official secrets by talking to media about an undercover assignment at the anniversary commemoration of the Srebrenica massacres.

The Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals in The Hague said on Thursday that it has postponed next month's appeals hearings in the Ratko Mladic case because of travel restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Former Bosnian Serb military commander Ratko Mladic's defence lawyers have requested that appeals hearings scheduled for June 16 and 17 at the Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals in The Hague be postponed because of restrictions on cross-border movement imposed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
