Man killed when air-conditioner explodes in his office
A man lost his life when the air-conditioning unit he was trying to repair in his office, on the Trikala-Karditsa national highway in northern Greece, exploded for unknown reasons. The 51-year-old man was rushed to hospital, but died a few hours later.

Trikala thanks refugees for help in distributing water to flooded villages
The municipal authority of Trikala in central Greece on Sunday issued an announcement thanking dozens of Syrian refugees staying at a camp in the vicinity for their help in distributing drinking water to flooded villages in the area.
Man killed in flood in Corinth, bringing toll to five
Bad weather in parts of the country on Saturday left at least one person dead and widespread damage, following the death last week of four people and the disappearance of another in floods.
A 30-year-old man died early Saturday when the car he had been driving was swept into a swollen stream in the village of Vrysoules near the town of Corinth.
New rainstorms leave five dead in Greece
Five people have lost their lives due to the heavy rainfall in the past few days. A 30-year-old man from Ksilokastro was the last “victim” of the extreme weather conditions. He tried to drive through a stream in his car, a few meters away from his house, but he was swept away by the fierce water.
