Turkey has presented options to the U.K. for the sale of armed drones, the Turkish industry and technology minister said on Oct. 15. 

"The U.K. is very interested in Turkish armed drones. Now, they have to decide. We presented them with the options. Right now, they're seriously considering these options," Mustafa Varank told CNN Turk in an exclusive interview.

The world has started acknowledging the success of Turkey's unmanned aerial combat vehicles, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Aug. 31.

Turkey has exported its autonomous rotary wing attack drones - also known as kamikaze drones - produced by Turkish defense company STM for the first time, the firm has announced.

After high-level negotiations, the first contract for exports of STM's Kargu drones was signed, the firm said in a statement.

A Turkish defense firm on July 20 released images of its conceptual design for an unmanned combat aircraft system.

The images were released by the company, Baykar, on the first day in Turkey of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, or the Festival of the Sacrifice.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will meet his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda on May 24 to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.

Duda arrived in Ankara on May 23 and will meet with Erdoğan's on May 24. Trade Minister Mehmet Muş welcomed the Polish president upon his arrival.
