Decision expected next week in Romania on heterologous vaccination regimens against COVID-19
Chairman of Romania's National COVID-19 Vaccination Coordination Committee (CNCAV) Valeriu Gheorghita says that a decision will be made next week on the possibility of a heterologous vaccination regimen against COVID-19 that combines two vaccines with different technologies.
105 New Cases of COVID-19 in Bulgaria, 9233 Active Cases
105 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Bulgaria during the last 24 hours. This is shown by the data on the Unified Information Portal. The cured for the same period are 227.
The tests performed are 17,080, which means that the percentage of positive samples remains 0.6 percent.

New 115 cases of coronavirus have been registered in Bulgaria in the last 24 hours. They were identified after 20,035 tests were performed. This means that the percentage of infected is 0.57, according to the data in the Unified Information Portal.
The cured for the same period are two more than the newly infected - 117.

"But what has to worry us is - Great Britain. If the Chinese strain was one to infect three, this Indian strain is to infect five to six," says Kon.

Over 7.7 mln jabs administered in past week
Turkey administered over 7.77 million doses, including first and second shots, of COVID-19 vaccines in the last seven days, according to official figures released on June 20.
In total, the country has given over 41.48 million doses since it launched a mass inoculation drive in mid-January.

Turkey’s vaccine drive gaining further momentum
Turkey has accelerated its vaccination drive against COVID-19 in terms of both the scope of the jab program and the speed of inoculations while the number of injections administered exceeded 33 million doses.
Yesterday, the vaccine eligibility rate was further lowered to cover those aged 40 and above.
