‘ArtIstanbul Feshane’ opens its doors to visitors
Feshane, a 190-year-old historical textile manufacturing plant and one of the landmarks of Istanbul, has opened its doors as "ArtIstanbul Feshane" to serve as a cultural and arts complex after five years of restoration work.

Film to be hidden at Istanbul Modern for 14 years
The first and only screening of director Burak Çevik's new film "Forms of Forgetting" (Unutma Biçimleri), which had its world premiere at the 73rd Berlin Film Festival, will be at Istanbul Modern Cinema on June 17, following which the film will remain hidden at Istanbul Modern for 14 years.

Home textile exports hit $5 billion
The Turkish home textile industry's export revenues stood at $5 billion last year, according to Hasan Hüseyin Bayram, head of the Home Textile Association (TETSİAD).
Local and international home textile companies met at the HOMETEX fair, which is being held between May 16 and 20.
This fair is expected to boost exports by 20 to 25 percent, said Bayram.

Visitors flock to Teknofest 2023 in Istanbul

Measures to be taken for buildings near Istanbul’s main highway

Court decides to stop demolition of Hiranur Foundation building
An Istanbul court has decided to stop ongoing demolition works in the building of the Hiranur Foundation that came to the fore with the allegation of the abuse of a 6-year-old child.
A demolition decision had been made on the grounds that the building was constructed in a way against the zoning legislation.
