Peevski: Hristo Ivanov Drank Greasy Turkish Coffee In My Office And Sat On My Lap Until The Constitution Was Done!

The chairman of the DPS parliamentary group, Delyan Peevski, accused the co-chairman of "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (WCC-DB), Hristo Ivanov, of wanting to impose his personnel in the prosecutor's office. In his words, Ivanov wanted to impose the candidacy of "his partner Andrey Yankulov for chief prosecutor and Sava Petrov for deputy chief prosecutor".

The "Lukoil - Neftohim" refinery in Burgas has promised Bulgarian Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov to pay over 500 million leva (250 million euros) in taxes, and in return the state will keep the derogation (exception) from the European ban on the import of Russian crude oil.

The administration led by the leader of the green movement URA, Dritan Abazovic, became the government with the shortest period in power in Montenegrin political history - it only came to office in April.
The government was ousted by the votes of 50 MPs in the 81-seat parliament.

The largest ruling party, the Democratic Party of Socialists, DPS, and the Social Democratic Party, SDP, criticized the draft published on Tuesday as too favourable to the Church, the largest faith group in Montenegro.

The ruling Democratic Party of Socialists, DPS, party won most votes in ten out of 12 municipalities on Sunday, but will only be able to form an administration on its own in five of them.

The preliminary results show that the DPS, run by the country's veteran leader Milo Djukanovic, secured an absolute majority in the capital Podgorica for the first time since the early 2000s.

BSP, DPS, Patriotic Front Delay Final Opinion on Bulgaria's 2017 Budget

Three of the main formations in Parliament - BSP, DPS and the Patriotic Front are delaying their final statements on the budget for 2017 which will be discussed at first reading in Parliament on Thursday.

So far, the draft budget has been approved by parliamentary commissions thanks to the votes of GERB and the Reformist Bloc.

BSP and DPS deputies are voting "against".
