Defense minister on visit to Greece

BELGRADE - Serbian Defense Minister Nebojsa Rodic will on Tuesday go on a two-day visit to Greece, at the invitation of his Greek counterpart Dimitris Avramopoulos, the Ministry of Defense has announced.

Rodic will talk with Greek officials about improvement in cooperation in the field of defense and joint activities of the Serbian and Greek armed forces, in an effort to step up relations in all fields of mutual interest and improve regional cooperation.

As regards military cooperation, an emphasis will be placed on the results in the field of education, training of special forces, and officers' preparations for participation in multi-national operations.

During his visit to Greece, Rodic will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and tour the Hellenic National Defense College.
