INTERVIEW Stuntman Dan Motanu: If I were born 100 times, I'd still choose Bucharest

Stuntman Dan Motanu, the vice president of the Union of Professional Stuntmen of Romania maintained in an interview to AGERPRES within the project 'MY CITY, BUCHAREST' that if he were born 100 times, he would still choose Bucharest as his birthplace.

We met him during a training session at an equestrian facility in Baneasa, north of Bucharest, and we talked about his pioneering in stunting, about the teamwork behind the shooting of stunt scenes, about the park where he goes to chill out and think of new ideas for shows. He explained the dangers of filming stunts; he also mentioned the satisfaction of a well done film or show. Motanu admitted he would have liked to live in interwar Bucharest. He invited Bucharesters to go see a movie or a play, forget about the Internet and come to an equestrian base to ride a horse and to train. He was persuasive — he made us get on the back of a horse to be on his level during the interview.
