Ibrahima Keita (Guinea): Romania was my destiny

It was my destiny to come to Romania - says Ibrahima Keita, born in Guinea, who came to our country on a scholarship and remained here, fascinated with the beauty of the places. For 30 years, he worked as museographer at the Art Museum of Tulcea Municipality, having devoted most of his life to culture.

Born on May 31, 1949, in Conakry, Guinea, Ibrahima Keita learned to draw at the age of ten, when he first discovered his artistic talent. He learned French in just one year. He was one of the three artists of Guinea who were sent by the Government on a scholarship to study abroad.
