Firea: PSD Group in Senate approves series of modifications in standing committees composition

The spokesperson of the Social Democrat Party (PSD) group of senators, Gabriela Firea, has announced on Tuesday that the Social Democrats have approved a series of modifications in the composition of some standing committees, the modifications being determined by the "naming of some senators in ministerial posts".

According to a press release of PSD remitted to AGERPRES, Cristian Dumitrescu was replaced in the Education, Science, Youth and Sports Committee by Mihnea-Cosmin Costoiu, with Dumitrescu to be part of the Culture Committee.

"Senator Neculai Bereanu will be a part of the Labor, Family and Social Protection Committee instead of Senator Liviu-Marian Pop, who will be part of the Committee for Privatization and Administration of State Assets. The chairmanship of the Labor, Family and Social Protection Committee will be taken over by Senator Mitu Augustin Constantin", said Gabriela Firea.

In the European Affairs Committee Titus Corlatean will be a member, replacing Senator Adrian Anghel, the quoted source also informs. AGERPRES
