Greek Eurovision finalist ignores negative backlash (video)

Maria-Elena Kyriakou, this year's Eurovision finalist for Greece, is getting ready to head to Vienna for the 60th Eurovision Song Contest. She appeared on the program #Hashtag and said that she was afraid of losing to Thomais Apergis song because it was clearly Greek.

The singer from Cyprus said that she is not going to concern herself with negative comments. "A lot has been said about me, but I laugh. These comments are on purpose to make me pay attention. It's like when children are naughty to make us notice them," she said, adding that she only keeps the positive and moves on.
